While doing other things over the weekend, I think I've struck on a workable solution to the questions I raised earlier about my The Otherlings setting for Mini Six (much of which I owe to Mash, Luke and Dale for helping guide me to think about the game from outside my original approach). The feedback from my post yesterday has been fantastic. It showed me the dangers of working in isolation, and how aware my friends are in the work of RPGs (both in structure and stimuli). And this has been done with limited knowledge of the system I would like to use and the style of game I can see coming from it.

I've previously talked about my general interest in the Gun Metal Games (formally Reality Deviants Press) setting Scarrport - This is Not a Review: Scarrport. While this great little city almost converted me to D&D 4e - although not quite, Dark Sun had more chance of that - it did seem like a prefect place to try out my Mini Six Conversion skills.
